Show Your New Teacher Some Love With This Awesome Teacher Gift

It's Back To School time and millions of kids are getting ready to hit the halls again.  It's an exciting time, but a lot of kids are nervous about their new teacher, kids in the class, homework, etc.  How about giving your new teacher a Back-To-School gift to show her some love right from the start.

I put together this box full of things that a teacher would love.  It's full of bright colors to brighten her/his day.  You can duplicate this box or use this as inspiration to come up with something on your own.

Cre8ive Crayonz is a store on Etsy where you can customize your crayon choices and colors.  She has many options to choose from.  This box has the apples and the teachers name, "Ms. Anne".  This is a mother daughter duo who also makes really cute videos on their Instagram page.  It's a great way to support a small business.

I found this adorable canvas tote bag at Hobby Lobby that says "I'm A Teacher.  What's Your Superpower".  So cute!  If they are out of stock online, always check your local store.  That is how I found mine.

This wood plaque for teachers is so fun.  They can hang it on their wall or stand on a desk or a shelf.  This is also from Hobby Lobby.

Most teachers have to wear a badge of some sort.  This badge reel from Hobby Lobby is adorable and a great item to put in a box.  It has the apple that ties in with the crayons and says "Best Teacher Ever."

I really like these Life Saver mints because they are individually wrapped.  They are one of my favorite go-to's to fill some of the small sections that the dividers create (see very top of box).  You can find them in your local drug store, grocery store, big box store or online.  Here is a link to buy from Target or Amazon.  They come in a variety of flavors.

These days you can bet that the teacher will be washing his or her hands many times throughout the day.  Having a tube of hand lotion in the desk would certainly be welcomed.  Any brand will do, but I love this AHAVA.  Make sure you get a smaller size so it will fit in the box.  This one is 3.4 oz.  You can buy online at AHAVA, ULTA, or Amazon.  Any hand cream will do the job.

A small container of hand sanitizer would also be a great addition to a teacher box.  They can keep it in/on the desk, or even carry in their pocket if they needed to.  The one in this box is from Target.

Any teacher would love a gift card to a local or national coffee shop to keep her/him awake!  I like to support my local coffee shop right near my kids schools, but anything would work.  The gift card is placed in the top right section of this box.

The Disguise The Surprise dividers allow you to create the sections in a gift box and hold the items in place.  They come in 5 color choices (red, white, clear, blue or green).  This one is using red dividers.  A set comes with 12 dividers of varying lengths, but you would only need 4 of the width dividers for this layout.  Click here to purchase a set of dividers.  The dividers are REUSABLE.  The teacher could even use the dividers in a drawer afterwards to separate some items.

Below is a picture showing you exactly where to place the dividers in this layout.  Choose some bright colored tissue paper to make the gift pop.  Click here to watch a video of me talking through how I made this box.

I hope this idea sparks some of you to make some teachers out there super happy with a box like this to start their year.  Your child (and you) would feel so proud to hand a box like this to a teacher.  The look on their face would say it all.  You could also give this box anytime throughout the year.
Have a great school year!
